Today Isabella, Qiqa and I went ta Anvers chocolate factory

We had some beautiful  sweet chicken corn  soup and of course we had a platter of their chocolates  the platter consists of  5 chocolates it was not a meat size platter( oh what a shame) lol.  they were yummy . Of course we had to bring a sample or two home with us.

i just love them.  the light didnt do my fabric folder any good I was so pleased with the finished product,  if i  keep going i will have to pay excess luggage   when i fly to westeren australia. lol

We had a wonderful holiday on the gold coast 
Carol  my cousin  and my myself at sea world
it was the first time Coral had been there, she had so much fun it was great that I could take her.
If you ever want to hire a car be a ware they want
you to use a creid card, very hard when you dont have one what has happened to good old cash.
I was lucky I found one that took cash no easy
feast. but with someone in a wheel chair you need your own tranport. Carol can walk not very steady,
can not walk far.  I used my brain for a change
every time I needed to get chair out of car I would ask  a man who was near by at the time my back
said thank you.
On returning Carol back to her home I slept  14
hours. Tuff work pushing her around.

I obtained the patteren from the craft fair in Launceston.

Is there anyone out there that is as silly as me
knitting and checking and reading blog land at the same time.
 It is very cold here now winter is just round the corner.
I have had a lazy day climbed out of bed 11.30  done the ironing
then sat all afternoon hand quilting a quilt of course lol.

We went to Hobart for easter break had a great time' went to Burny Island

Debbie D first trip to the island  ; we seen this eating place 

big scones with jam and cream the girls  enjoyed eating while traveling 

back to catch the ferry.

Carol took us to the cascino for evening meal > Carol is such a lovely lady and beat her own record 

on how many sweets she can eat, five in all this time.

Carol is disabled and gave this man we didn;t know the thumbs up for the sweets while Debbie d 

was telling her husband Carols record . Talk about laugh.

Home again

Hi home again went away looking after two beautiful children. Took them to the park, boat ride down the  Tamer river they thought that was cool, but what they really liked was going to hullabon in Launceston they had lots of fun with the balloons making them into dogs handbag and hats.
Back home one night had to take dear husband to hospital today, he is having trouble breathing they really gave him a good going over. He has a bad heart which is a big concern was born with it but is getting worst
 Yes i know everyone is born with a heart. He also is a diabetic and reading's are a bit high.  He is in the best place to get help but dons't stop you from worrying

Hi I have a busy weekend My little god daughter stayed the night.
She is so used to sleeping in mum and dads bed.
The story goes like this we watched a dvd in hubby and my bed then when asleep i
carried her to the single bed,
 told her if she woke she could come back to our bed.
So one hour later in she comes, well me and my man are not small  so we decided my beautiful god daughter and me would  then go to sleep  in the lounge in a reclining chair. Well first i fell asleep only to be woken every hour, we have not one but three clocks that chime on the hour plus one dong half hour. Well today my back hurts and i am still tied. Mind you the little girl is 5 but I could not let her get upset because I know she sleeps with mum and dad.  Things we do to keep the little one's happy. So tonight I will really enjoy my bed. As tomorrow I will be in Launceston helping with the chrildren for a week while mum and dad work .Poor hubby will be on his own.

I have been a bit quite on the blog front  Still busy ,
helping my sister showing her how to make a bag,
On Friday I was teaching about six women how to make the
bag I made with the roses on for my self

my  first atempt at real stippling Iam quite happy with the effect. i had a cube book case brought  to my house today another thing for the sewing room.
But boy I am happy with it, books look neat at last.

At last I have finished the main part just the cottons to tidy

I have every thing in sewing room except the kitchen sink My sewing room is down stairs, you have to go

out side to get to it. I love it we had it built on I can just lock up and i don;t have to see when it is in a mess.

Trip to Launceston the girls on way home \, not sure what was wrong with them

I had no trouble driving home plenty of room.

Oh boy you should see my sewing room it is a big mess. I am sorting out fabric in colour and size \, but most of the fabric is on the floor at the moment.I obtained a cd  holder and i am placing my fat  quarters in , they look great so off to Launceston to get some more cd.holders.  Yesterday I took delivery  of my design wall fantastic now I have no excuse not to finish  my sisters quilt lol  When my sewing room is in order again I will post some photos

These are the new bags we have been making I just love them  the first one I made boo boo and made it to big then the next one just right, the one with roses is one on the making. I think the bags are great presents. By the way I have had a much better day so hopefully  the shakes are over with.

Hi  not feeling the best the last couple days> I have stop eating chocolate and it is playing up with my body. I had stomach banding and I find it hard to eat food, but chocolate always  went done well and tasted good. lol
But the chocolate keeps the weight on, this is the thrird day without.
mind you,  I am pleased I had the op as I have lost a little bit and do not hate my self.
I found after the op there is no back up, to  talk and help with what to eat ,
they just say eat what you like.
Well I sure did but it didnt help to lose weight so at the moment I am taking one day at a time.
Feel like I have let out a lot about me .

Oh what a beautiful weekend we have had; took my god daughter plus 3 other children to Ulverstone park to play and swim. Hired a 6 wheel bike to go for a ride oh I am not fit it was sooooo much hard work.lol
Today went for a drive with  bell. We live in such a beautiful part of tassie I am sitting in the living room,  just looked up to see the spirit of Tasmania on its way to Melbourne

Saturday was my birthday two special friends spent the day hand sewing with me Isabella and debbie d
then off for a chinise meal with more freinds and family.\I was very spoilt with phone call and presents some beautiful fabric gift card for spotlight. and my dear husband gave me a photo frame that show all your  your pics.  love it as i have many photo around the house.
Thinking a lot of mum as i was the fifteen child she had given birth to then one more after me that is right 12 girls  4boys  the girls rule ha ha ha lol  so i love family get togethers  I turned 56 not funny they kept telling me 4 years till your 60 not funny lol

I made it

the patteren i purchered from calico crossroad I fell in love with it right away, now to make another for my cousin Carol in Hobart.
